T-Tronic 5-Speed Automatic Transmission

Artificially Intelligent Program

Manual-mode T-Tronic

While in Drive, just nudge the gear shift lever left or right to get the dynamic response one expects from a manual transmission.

Additional Functions

In Winter mode, the vehicle will start out in second gear to prevent slipping on icy surfaces. The transmission features five forward gears and two reverse gears, while a lock-up torque converter links the transmission directly to the engine when the vehicle is travelling at steady speed, maximising fuel economy and output transfer.

5-Speed Manual Transmission

The gear ratio has been optimised for the powerful Xdi engine to ensure superb response.

A shift interlock prevents the rear wheels from slipping out of gear when the vehicle is in motion.

Shifting action is smooth, and potential causes of drive train vibration are blocked at the source.

The dual-mass flywheel reduces vibration noise. There is smoother acceleration and deceleration for a quieter, more comfortable ride.
